Tunisia is accelerating its digital transformation with the launch of the 2026 to 2030 development plan. With 192 digital projects underway the focus is on full public service digitalization and expanding electronic payments. A major infrastructure milestone was reached this month with the ViaTunisia subsea cable linking Bizerte to Marseille going live. This provides the high capacity data bridge needed for Tunisias growing AI and startup ecosystem which now hosts over 2000 startups.
